We are thrilled to celebrate Md. Fahim Hossain, who has been recognized as a winner of Habitat for Humanity’s prestigious 2025 youth-led solutions grant!. This honor was announced at the 2025 Habitat Youth Assembly held in Cebu City, the Philippines, where ten innovative youth-led housing solutions for the Asia-Pacific region took center stage.

Md. Fahim Hossain, the winner from Bangladesh, received a grant of US$4,000 for his winning project, H-MAP. He is among the youth leaders trusted by Habitat for Humanity to create meaningful, far-reaching impact in their communities through culturally relevant housing solutions.
H-MAP, which stands for Habitat Mapping for Action and Preparedness, is an innovative project designed to tackle the escalating housing crisis in climate-vulnerable areas of Khulna, Bangladesh

- The idea aims to empower Habitat for Humanity International Bangladesh’s (HFHI-B) ongoing efforts and stakeholders to map local housing conditions, identify risk zones, and strengthen planning for disaster resilience.
- The Platform: H-MAP is a web-based interactive mapping platform that will illustrate housing, hazards, and disaster preparedness information in climate-vulnerable areas of Khulna
- Pilot Location: The platform will launch its pilot in selected HFHI-B supported communities in Satkhira district of Khulna division.
- Key Information: Users will be able to investigate the locations of Habitat-supported housing initiatives, local hazard indicators (such as flooding, salinity, and erosion), sanitation and WASH conditions, vulnerability assessments, and action plans for disaster preparedness and recovery.
